The FNPS: Episode 8 - Florian Schneider (05-08-2020)

On this week's show, a look at the legacy of Florian Schneider of Kraftwerk, who passed away two days before this episode aired. The FNPS: Episode 4 - It's OK to not be OK (04-10-2020)

On this week's episode, I talk about not being okay in the midst of the ongoing pandemic.
Also, this is the first show with the new mic, and new software! At this point, I stopped using BUTT and moved to Mixxx. New software means growing pains, and there are some odd moments here and there because I kept forgetting to push the talk button, which would create echoes due to the latency on the mic and the output. Chalk it up to a learning curve ;)

The FNPS: Episode 1 - Canadiana (03-20-2020)

The first episode of the Friday Night Parkdale Special! I had a week of lockdown to figure out how to do this, so the original tech setup was very much cobbled together: An older HP laptop, its onboard mic, Spotify, and BUTT as the broadcasting tool. The audio is by no means professional, but everyone starts somewhere, and the main objective was to play some music for my friends so we could still feel connected in a tumultuous time.
This show's theme is Canadian tunes, but I promise two things: No Bryan Adams, and no Sarah McLachlan sad-animals song.
